Byron spent 25 years in the food brokerage business as a former Senior Vice President of Advantage Sales & Marketing (one of the largest food brokers in the county). He is a former restaurant owner in Asheville and is a resident of the Beaverdam community in Asheville. Byron has been active in many non-profits such as the Grove Arcade Foundation and the former president of the Grove Arcade Merchants Association. In addition Byron has also been a member of the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce and past president of the Asheville Downtown Association. He was very active on the Bele Chere board of directors as chairman. Byron served on the board of directors of Lutheridge + Lutherock Camping Ministries for many years. In his spare time, Byron enjoys spending time traveling. His team, the Dwell Realty group is a consistent top producing team with many awards.
